President Zillur Rahman leaves Dhaka for OIC Summit.


President Zillur Rahman left Dhaka Friday morning for Istanbul, Turkey, to attend an OIC summit on economic and commercial cooperation.

The president's press secretary Abdul Awal Hawladar told that the president flew out of ZIA, an Emirates flight. He will be reaching Istanbul on Saturday via Dubai where he will have an overnight stop. The Istanbul summit will be held on Nov 9 to mark the 25th anniversary of the OIC standing committee.

In addition to attending the summit, President Zillur Rahman will perform ziarat at the grave of Hazrat Yup Sultan Ansari in Istanbul. He will also visit the famous Topkapi museum.

President is scheduled to return home on the evening of Nov 11.

DITF has extended for seven more deys.

The largest trade exposition of the country, has been extended for seven more days. Commerce ministry spokesperson Faizul Haq said the ministry decided the extension Dhaka International Trade Fair on requests by participants in the fair, jointly organized by the ministry of Commerce and Export Promotion Bureau.
